This project shows a building intercom replacement in Van Nuys, documented from the original hardware condition through the new Linear AE-100 replacement unit stage and into the final installed result.
Project overview
The goal of this project was to replace the building’s old intercom with a new Linear AE-100 entry system while keeping the gate entry functional, secure, and better presented for daily access.
Before and after
The original building intercom was documented from the inside and outside, including the cabinet electronics, wiring, and entry hardware. We also documented the new Linear AE-100 replacement unit before installation, then captured the completed final setup mounted cleanly on the gate with the display active and the system back in place.
